The Implementation department at Giftify serves as the central hub for project coordination, operational planning, and cross-functional collaboration within our organization. Our Implementation Specialists work closely with the Product and Commercial departments to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and achieve organizational objectives.

As a Team Lead, you will guide the team in day-to-day activities, ensuring that whatever has been agreed in the contract is delivered, and the client is supported throughout this journey, including the hypercare period. The role of the team lead is not to be a manager in the traditional sense of the word (feedback, performance reviews etc.) but more in leading the day-to-day operations of the team.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day Management

  • Team Guidance: Ensure team priorities are clear, provide guidance where needed, and support them in achieving department objectives.
  • Escalation Point: Serve as an escalation point for other departments in case of issues or concerns.
  • Team Support: Act as a mentor and coach to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Planning and Organization

  • Project Planning: Define objectives, key milestones, and deadlines for implementation projects. Create and manage project schedules.
  • Resource Allocation: Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and workload to ensure optimal resource use and project success.

Quality and Reporting

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that deliverables meet established quality standards and specific client requirements.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the initial plan or improvement opportunities, and take corrective actions if necessary.
  • Innovation: Promote and implement innovative initiatives to enhance the efficiency and quality of projects.

Stakeholder Management

  • Communication: Ensure effective communication with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Understand and manage expectations.
  • Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Handle negotiations and resolve conflicts with stakeholders proactively and diplomatically.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Client Support: Oversee the hypercare period, ensuring that clients receive the necessary support post-implementation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Encourage and contribute to continuous improvement practices within the team to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.

As a Team Lead, you are primarily responsible for the daily and operational management of the team, with a focus on project execution and team support. Strategic, organisational, and large-scale resource management responsibilities do not fall within your role.
