The Technical Manager is accountable for safety, quality and performance of all equipment and technical systems on site in short term as well as in long term perspective using TPM PM-pillar as way of working . Also the Technical Manager is accountable for capital projects execution on site. The Technical Manager contributes into long term site development by leading site master planning process. The expectation of this role is to become the back-up of the plant manager within the leadership team.
What are we looking for?
Higher technical education
Management of engineering or experience in a maintenance team in the FMCG business for more than 3 years
Ready to become back-up plant manager in a leadership team
Experience in capital projects execution with a budget pf more than 1M USD
Experience working/Leading in a TPM environment. You will join a factory that is mature on TPM therefore we are looking for a candidate that can take us to the next level.
Experience working in a global Matrix organization and suppliers
What will be your key responsibilities?
Follow-up on legal compliance and Mars standards compliance for all equipment and technical systems
Quality requirements compliance for all equipment and technical systems
Equipment reliability and maintenance cost
Capital projects execution on site
The Technical Manager is a key team member in the factory management team. Therefore he/she collaborates with all managers on site in different functions (Operations, HSE, R&D, P&O, S&F etc.)
Leading a complete team of highly competent technical professionals
On a regional level the Technical Manager shares experience with other Technical Managers and the regional engineering team.
Follow-up on safety of all equipment and technical systems. (if the manager is in possession of a safety degree)
