Overview:
We work with quality-focused cafés and restaurants, all across Europe. We build wholesale relationships with personalized support, including advice, training, and equipment as needed. As a wholesale account manager you are responsible to help nurture and grow our partnership relations. You maintain a close relation with your accounts, promote our coffees and offer tailored support. You represent Wide Awake at events, create new relationships and contribute to the growth and success of our roastery.
Responsibilities:
- New Relations: You manage incoming organic sales leads. You meet potential customers, promote our work, provide coffee & machine advice. You oversee the onboarding of the new client until a successful opening.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their individual needs and preferences. Be their voice, making sure our products and services meet their needs. Manage and process customer orders, be the relay between the Wide Awake production team and the client.
- Event Ambassador: Represent Wide Awake at trade shows, take-overs and other industry events.
- Reporting: Create dashboards and reports with key performance indicators.
- Product & Market Expert: Develop an in-depth understanding of our coffees, including their origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods, to effectively educate customers and drive sales. Stay informed about market trends, offerings, and industry developments to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing and management teams to develop and execute sales strategy, including events, and marketing strategy.
Requirements:
- A passion for coffee. Experience in the industry (barista, roastery or green) is a big plus.
- Master degree in a relevant field (sales, business, marketing).
- 3 years of previous experience in a sales role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers and build strong relationships.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and set goals.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Analytical mindset, good with data, strong in excel. Generally you are a digital native that can easily adopt different software programs.
- Availability to travel and attend events or conferences as required.
- Fluent in english. NL+FR strong plus.
