Today, our Managing Director, Bram Moeskops, was a speaker at the Hybrid Policy Dialogue organized by the European Policy Centre. The event focused on “Resolving the Energy-Food-Nature Trilemma in Land Use: The Role of Digitalisation in EU Policies.” Bram highlighted the importance of aligning digitalisation with agroecological principles, ensuring it fosters co-creation and knowledge-sharing with farmers. He also emphasized the need for mechanisms that account for the true costs of digital tools, particularly in relation to sustainability 🌱

𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗬 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 – 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁!   The AGROECOLOGY Partnership will soon launch the Call for Applications for its 1st Summer School on “Conservation Agriculture in Mediterranean Systems”. 📅 This 3-day event will take place from the 7th – 9th of May 2025 in📍 Elvas (Portugal). 𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨: Researchers, farmers, agriculture consultants, ecologists, policy makers and related positions. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙚: The traditional agricultural system of Southern Europe is close to the objectives of Agroecology in terms of sustainability, adaptation to climatic and soil conditions and respect for biodiversity. In these systems, improvement programs are aimed at creating materials adapted to the production method. Conservation Agriculture is therefore a relevant instrument for sustainability and Agroecology. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩: 👩🏫 Keynote lectures by experts in the field 🧑💻 Workshops and training on the applicability of scientific knowledge to business 🌾 Excursions to local farms 𝘾𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙨: Summer School attendance is free. Classes, field trips, accommodation, transport and meals are covered by the AGROECOLOGY Partnership.
