All the best, Frank Jansen! We're glad to have contributed to the group in our small way to this passing of torches.
🔥𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐇𝐚𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝! 𝘏𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘍𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘑𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘯’𝘴 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘤𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘶𝘭 𝘌𝘪𝘫𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘴 𝘕𝘈𝘎’𝘴 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳. During the Annual General Meeting, NAG Chairman Lex Besselink Lex Besselink celebrated Frank Jansen for his exceptional contributions as director. The event marked Frank’s farewell, complete with heartfelt speeches and a warm welcome for the new director, Paul Eijssen, amidst golden confetti! 🎉 The reception included impactful presentations by Vincent van Campen on NAG’s early days, Jan Verbeek on international growth, Niek Lobé on government collaboration and Adriaan Leyte on industry challenges and global missions. During the farewell reception, Lex presented Frank with a book of messages from over 100 contributors, a thoughtful gift and the inaugural Frank Jansen Award. Designed by Materialise — soon to join NAG — the award celebrates innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in Dutch aviation and will now be awarded annually. Frank shared wisdom: “If you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, go together”. Paul expressed his excitement: “I am honoured to be your successor and look forward to this new chapter”. ✈️ We extend our deepest gratitude to Frank for his dedication and impactful years with the NAG. Now we look ahead with excitement as Paul joins forces with our members to lead the NAG into an inspiring new chapter. Big thanks to Collins Aerospace for hosting this event and for their help with the organisation. Thanks Marc Jaspers for the nice pictures! #SustainableAviation #AviationInnovation #LeadershipTransition #DutchAviation #FutureOfFlight

Sustainability is a key part of our mission and shared vision to create a better and healthier world — and we’re always looking for ways to reduce our carbon emissions. So, we’re delighted that through collaboration and partnerships with HP and our suppliers, we switched to a carbon-reduced PA 12, resulting in a 46% reduction in our emissions compared to the regular PA 12! This change sits beside other initiatives to reduce raw material emissions, such as optimizing our production processes and reusing or repurposing powder to give it an alternative life. This carbon-reduced powder is vital to meet our near-term target of reducing our CO2 emissions by 55% by 2029. It’s an action that complements other actions, such as transitioning to renewable electricity in our production sites and most of our offices and using software solutions in our workflows that minimize scrape and material consumption.
