Most date from his term as Governor of Arizona, but some show his time as Secretary of State. In many of these images, Garvey is accompanied by prominent Arizonans, visiting dignitaries, and local, state, and federal officials. Also included are a few family photographs showing Thirza (Vail) Garvey and Daniel Garvey Jr.
Austin Public Library - Austin History Center
This collection documents the lives of five generations of families related by marriage between 1864 and 1965. Much of the material is correspondence concerning a wide range of people, places, and topics, including domestic relations, clothing, food preparation, health, travel, education, and social life. Subject matters include John Orr's business, Mrs. Huberich's school, world travel, marital affairs, and World War Two. One ledger contains poems and accounts of the Civil War. Photographs also depict the individuals, social activities, and milestones of the families.

The 1935 Methodist Hymnal Commission was created to revise the 1905 hymnal used by the Methodist Episcopal Church and the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. The Carlton R. Young Collection of 1935 Methodist Hymnal Commission records document the commission's process of selecting, researching, and organizing hymns to include in the hymnal. Materials include correspondence, tunes, hymns, minutes, programs, and photographs.
