Latimer), 1876-1886, concerning weddings, birth of children, local news, financial matters, and land transactions in Bronxville; bills, correspondence, and specifications of the Prescott Square Company, 1916-1930, concerning their real estate business in Bronxville; transcript of an oral history interview with Alfred F. Latimer, 1975; and family photographs and daguerreotypes

Powers; "How Salvator Won" by Ella Wheeler Wilcox; "The One-Legged Goose" by F. Hokinson Smith; and "Mrs. Brindles Music Lesson" by unknown author. The majority of these works are examples of dialect writing

Collection consists of correspondence and papers of Joel Palmer, 1810-1881, superintendent of Indian Affairs in Oregon Territory, 1853-1857, and of his brother, Ephraim Palmer, captain of Company B, 1st regiment, Oregon Infantry -- Most of the papers in the collection fall within the years 1853-1874. The manuscripts in the collection for 1864-1866 are almost entirely Ephraim Palmer's official letters and papers as captain of Company B, 1st regiment, Oregon Infantry.
