The research proves that chronic lack of sleep increases the risk of stroke by about 50%. In everyday life, the hours we "steal" from our rest lead to a number of unpleasant symptoms such as irritability, fatigue, frequent mood swings, depression, and weight gain. This fall, we are once again switching to Daylight Saving Time (DST), which will give us 1 more hour of sleep on the first night after the change. Besta Med Forest 2024: Expanding Green Horizons in Sofia! After last year’s success in Ruse, we’re excited to share that on 14 October, we brought the Besta Med Forest to Sofia, planting in the beautiful grounds of G. S. Rakovski Military Academy! This year, we planted 50 saplings of both coniferous and broadleaf trees: 🌲 10 Sycamore Maple 🌲 10 White Birch 🌲 10 Silver Linden 🌲 20 London Plane At Besta Med, protecting the environment is at the heart of everything we do. Through initiatives like the Besta Med Forest, we’re not only enriching our surroundings but also fostering a sense of responsibility towards preserving nature for future generations. These trees will soon thrive, providing shade, shelter for songbirds, and a peaceful retreat for everyone who visits the Academy. Together, we’re growing greener spaces and stronger communities—one tree at a time. 🌿
