We never ever had so many open positions as today. 13 years ago, it all started with friends working in a hack coffee shop. We proved that collective wisdom and self-management are stronger than top-down hierarchy. This adventure began with a simple idea: people can manage themselves better than any boss. They believed in teamwork and shared knowledge. And it worked. They showed that when people come together, they can do amazing things. No need for a boss telling them what to do. Just trust, respect, and a shared goal. Today, this approach is more relevant than ever. With so many open positions, we’re looking for more than just skilled professionals. We’re looking for people who: - Believe in collaboration over control. - Thrive in a self-managed, team-driven environment. - Want to be part of a cooperative where everyone has a voice and a stake in the outcome. At Camplight, you won’t find bosses or rigid hierarchies. You’ll find a group of talented individuals working together, sharing knowledge, and building something extraordinary. If you’re ready to join a team that trusts you to do your best work and values your ideas just as much as your skills, we’d love to hear from you. Check out our open positions and join the adventure. Let’s build the future of work together. #WeAreHiring #Careers #ProductDevelopment #Engineering #VentureBuilding #SoftwareDevelopment #TopTier

Even experienced entrepreneurs miss the full value of competitive benchmarking. No, it's not just about comparing prices! It’s about understanding your rivals’ strategies, learning from their successes, and identifying opportunities to differentiate your product in the market. By thoroughly analyzing your competitors, you can position your new venture for sustainable growth and success. 🚀 Here are some essential Competitive Benchmarking Questions to help your venture bloom: 1️⃣ Who are your direct and indirect competitors? → Identify companies offering similar products or services, as well as those meeting the same customer needs in different ways. 2️⃣ What are their pricing strategies? → It's about more than the price itself! Are they premium, discount, or value-based? Understanding their pricing can help you determine how to position your product. 3️⃣ Who are their key customers or target segments? → Knowing who your competitors are targeting helps you identify potential gaps or underserved markets. 4️⃣ How are they positioning their solution? → Are they positioning vertically (focused on a specific industry) or horizontally (serving a broader market)? Are they trying to create a new category? 5️⃣ What patents, proprietary technologies, or unique processes do they have? → Understanding their unique selling points can help you define your own. 6️⃣ What features or benefits do customers most value in their offerings? → This helps in tailoring your product to meet market needs better than your competitors. 7️⃣ How do they engage with customers? → Which sales channels, customer service strategies, or engagement tools are they using effectively? 8️⃣ How are competitors funded? → Knowing if they are backed by venture capital, private equity, or bootstrapped can provide insights into their growth strategy and risk appetite. 9️⃣ What is their traction—are they growing, raising funds, or expanding their teams? → This helps you understand their growth trajectory and market presence. ❓ What would be no.10, if you had to add to this list? By asking these questions, you can build a comprehensive understanding of your competitive landscape and make informed strategic decisions. Don’t just compete—dominate! 💪 Dive deeper with our Pre-MVP Playbook and learn how to leverage competitive benchmarking for your venture’s success! It's more likely than not that your new project's estimate is off by HALF 🤯 This shocking statistic shows just how often tech teams miss the mark on project estimations. What can we do to fix it? The answer is not about the actual development, but about what comes before it. Pre-MVP work can help you eliminate wrong estimations: 1️⃣ Thorough market understanding: Understanding the market landscape isn’t just about finding your customers—it’s about uncovering hidden complexities that could affect development time and cost. Pre-MVP work involves a deep dive into market needs, potential obstacles, and existing solutions, allowing teams to foresee challenges before they derail the project. 2️⃣ Early tests through pre/prototyping: Instead of jumping straight into full-scale development, start small. Build pre/prototypes to test critical features and gather real user feedback. This not only validates your assumptions but also provides clearer insights into the actual development effort required. It’s easier (and cheaper!) to adjust a prototype than a fully developed product. 3️⃣ Clear scope definition: A vague or overly ambitious scope is a recipe for estimation disaster. Pre-MVP work forces you to articulate your hypotheses and validate them with real data. By focusing on building an MVP that solves core pain points, you avoid feature creep and keep your development efforts aligned with your objectives. By investing in Pre-MVP work, tech teams can significantly reduce the chances of misestimating projects. Stop guessing. Start validating. If you need help in figuring out how to structure pre-MVP work, we have just the thing. Our Pre-MVP Playbook contains step-by-step guidance and resources to help you out. What's a developer's favorite part of the house? 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁. 😅 Amid the myriad of codes, servers, and deployments, there's a special comfort in the simplicity of our 'localhost'. It's where we test, break things, and rebuild, all in the safety of our own environment. In much the same way we cherish the familiarity of our own homes, developers hold a soft spot for the controlled domain of the localhost. It's our digital playground, our space of infinite retries.
