Customer Visit Recap Last week, our team visited one of our new customer Marpex Agro Ltd. in Ruse and had the opportunity to observe some of the equipment they've been using for over a decade. Despite its age, this setup continues to operate in their operations, a testament to its durability and reliability over the years. 🛠️🔩 As we continue to provide our customers with innovative solutions, it's great to see how equipment from previous generations is still making a difference on the ground. It was a pleasure to participate in Experian Bulgaria’s inaugural tech conference, #SofiaTechDays, last week! Sergi Sergiev, our founder, enjoyed reconnecting with familiar faces from his time at Experian and engaging in meaningful conversations with industry leaders. In our session, "From Concepts to Applications: The Role of RAG and Agents in Modern AI," we demonstrated how easy it can be to create a prototype or an AI agent, bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and practical, real-world applications. 📢 Last week was an incredible experience for CatWing at the #SupplyChainEurope 2024 conference, hosted by Reuters Events: Supply Chain. Our founder, Sergi Sergiev, had the honor of moderating the panel, "Navigating the Path to AI-Enhanced Supply Chain Management with Multi-Enterprise Collaboration," alongside esteemed panelists: Mark Kaelen, Supply Chain Director and Program Lead at Hero Group; Pablo Quintano, Senior Director, Enterprise Solutions at e2open; and Manuel Bierwirth, Product Owner, Supply Chain Analytics at Merck. Together, they explored key challenges and innovations in the field, leveraging the Data Science Pyramid framework (details in comments). At CatWing, we used this event to reflect and explore on our unique approach and positioning in AI-driven supply chain solutions, especially our focus on demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and our latest innovation—custom AI supply chain agents. These agents are groundbreaking tools in the sector, designed to intelligently streamline and optimize operations in ways previously unattainable. Our participation in two workshops, a hackathon, a panel, and countless discussions highlighted a common theme: while many companies aim to harness AI, many still struggle with full-scale implementation. We were inspired by Danone’s success story, showcasing innovative AI adoption that aligns with CatWing’s pioneering work. However, we also noted that while AI is becoming a buzzword, not all providers substantiate their claims with true AI solutions. Our insights from the event affirm that CatWing is on the right path. With our custom AI supply chain agents and expertise in demand forecasting and inventory optimization, we are well-equipped to redefine SME supply chains. Our founder, Sergi Sergiev, will be supporting a great initiative by TAPMI School of Business, Jaipur , in collaboration with our friends from Data Science Society. The event, called #Datathon, is aimed at students and focuses on practical tasks and challenges, primarily in marketing. It will be a one-day event where different teams will choose from four distinct problems. Each team will present their results, and the best solution will win.
