Excited and humbled to share that Kelvin Health was recognized as a 3rd place winner at the EIT Health InnoStars Awards '24 Validation Track, among a cohort of 20 innovative pre-revenue health-tech startups from all across Europe! The Grand Final event, which happened on November 27 in the heart of CEE - beautiful Budapest, included multiple keynotes and panels, three pitching tracks, and a startup-investor networking. It was the conclusion of a three-month program which included two full-week bootcamps, held on-site in Budapest and Warsaw. We were amazed to see the progress that all companies have achieved during that period, on our journeys to advancing the standard of care! The general vibe of the program was very united and we can truly say we became life-long friends - working, eating, and even training together! Big thank you to EIT Health for pulling this off, and also to EIT Global Outreach as, as funny as it may sound, we actually understood about the InnoStars program as a result of a joint visit to Tokyo and follow-ups with Zsolt Bubori and Marta Kaczmarek. Excited that we also contributed to EIT Health having a MoU with Digital Health and Innovation Cluster Bulgaria as a result of the same journey! This last Thursday, just two days before my 40th birthday, I had the chance to talk, for the third consecutive year, with bright young people joining the Elevate AUBG Accelerator. Very happy to see more and more students willing to become entrepreneurs each year. Not just because of the fortune and fame (which takes way more time than anticipated anyway), but because of the belief they are destined to solve a serious problem. Sharing our entrepreneurial (ad)ventures with Imagga and Kelvin Health and answering some relevant questions always feels insightful form of self-reflection, helping me to get a fresh perspective on the things we have, haven't, and are still to achieve. Wish best of luck and grit, to the ventures, and ultimately - awareness and clarity to the young entrepreneurs staying behind them! Thanks to Darina Stanoilova and Georgi Yanakiev for stepping up to lead the sixth season of the program and for having me there.
