🌊 Yemaya: The Power of Women 🌊 As some of you know, I’ve published one book already, but this time, I wanted to try something new. My latest project, Yemaya: The Power of Women, will be shared here on LinkedIn, chapter by chapter, week by week. My goal is to offer you a short, inspiring read that brings a moment of calm and reflection. But who is Yemaya? 🌊 Originating in Yoruba mythology, Yemaya is the goddess of the ocean, motherhood, and creation. Known as the “Mother whose children are like fish,” she’s a protective force and the creator of life itself, embodying both nurturing and powerful energy. With the transatlantic slave trade, Yemaya’s influence traveled to the Americas, where she became a symbol of resilience and hope in Afro-Caribbean traditions, particularly in Santería and Candomblé. Yemaya’s stories and legends depict her as a guiding spirit who offers healing, strength, and wisdom. Her image—a serene yet powerful mermaid dressed in blue and white—reminds us of the ocean’s depths and the mysteries they hold. Each chapter I’ll share is inspired by Yemaya’s legacy, presenting stories of resilience, healing, and empowerment. Through these stories, I hope you’ll feel a bit of Yemaya’s empowering energy and discover insights that resonate. Thank you for being part of this journey! 🌊 #LinkedInWriters #Yemaya #GoddessWisdom #EmpoweringWomen #Mythology #Storytelling #FemaleEmpowerment #Inspiration
