What does the BI Architect do?

  • The BI Architect is a significant role within the Data & Analytics team, who develops & delivers data models from our internal & external data of all types. And, these models are easily accessible and help to provide valuable insights for CCEP.
  • This role will support the BI team to deliver best-in-class reporting solutions, based on the existing enterprise architecture and unified data platform.
  • It provides thought leadership to identify the relevant data assets, and uses the relevant data modelling techniques & methodologies to create and maintain the CCEP business logic and reporting layers.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the BI Team to adapt new or existing solutions to the enterprise standards and universal data platform (UDP) architecture.
  • Builds and maintains the CCEP enterprise data model for the business logic (UDP) and reporting (PowerBI) layers by leveraging the existing meta, master and reference data models in collaboration with the DIS analysts, business domain leads and data SMEs.
  • Mentors BI developers on delivering optimal solutions.
  • Builds POCs of new solutions.
  • Drives the adoption of ML tools to speed up the delivery of both BI developers and DIS analysts.
  • Owns the BI tools usage and enforces the reporting standards across the CCEP, including third-party vendors.

You Can Demonstrate Experience In Some Of The Following…

  • Ideally from a computer science, data science or BI analytical background with focus on data management & visualization techniques.
  • Extensive experience in delivering BI solutions to support an enterprise strategy and realise benefits from investment in centralized reporting that scales across different use cases.
  • Thorough understanding and practical knowledge of the data analysis and structured techniques to produce data sets and data assets for the pragmatic usage for analysis & reporting.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of different technologies (Azure DF, PowerBI, Python, SQL, DAX, Erwin) and how they coexist to create an Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform.
  • Excellent knowledge of data warehousing and modelling concepts including ETL design, Kimball modelling, PBI semantic modelling.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, including the ability to convey data management concepts and value of data to wider population within CCEP.
  • Experience of working in an internationally dispersed organisation with diverse backgrounds and data literacy.
  • Building a network of relationship with relevant data providers.
