Role: Enterprise Data Architect

Level: Reporting to the CTO

Type: Direct permanent employment

Hybrid/Remote conditions: The first 6-12 months is a hybrid model

🔵Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation, development, and implementation of data architecture solutions that align with business needs and technical standards.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into actionable technical specifications.
• Manage the entire data architecture lifecycle, including planning, modeling, integration, and deployment.
• Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and perform efficiently through effective design and architecture practices.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate data solutions with existing systems and workflows.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, offering recommendations for improvements and innovations.
• Create and maintain documentation detailing data architecture processes, standards, and best practices.

🔵Data Consolidation Tasks:

• Assess and integrate diverse data sources from multiple organizations into a cohesive data architecture.
• Develop a data consolidation strategy that prioritizes data quality, consistency, and governance.
• Propose a strategic data architecture plan, including short-term and long-term technology stacks, development frameworks, and standards that align with the broader enterprise architecture.
• Ensure seamless integration of data solutions with existing systems while supporting scalability and security requirements.
• Produce detailed design and architecture documentation for planned data solutions.

🔵Integration Responsibilities:

• Design and execute integration strategies that connect various data sources and systems across the organization.
• Establish and maintain integration frameworks and standards to promote consistency and reliability.
• Collaborate with application development teams to ensure smooth integration of new applications into existing infrastructure.
• Monitor and enhance integration processes to maintain efficient data flow and minimize latency.

🔵Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Extensive experience in data architecture and leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in data architecture, including data modeling, database design, and data integration.
• Proficiency in applying data architecture design patterns and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated project management skills with a history of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders across various levels.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies is an asset.

🔵Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure Data technologies and related platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies and frameworks, including Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Understanding of database management systems.
