The company is regulated under CBB Volume 5 (Ancillary Services) and is looking for a professional who thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Decision No. 51 of 2024, based on the new decree issued by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, now permits the engagement in specific commercial activities through virtual commercial stores, marking a significant step towards digital transformation in our commercial landscape. Key Highlights: 🔹 Eligibility: Bahraini nationals can now apply for licenses to operate certain commercial activities through sole proprietorships, ensuring a streamlined and efficient process. 🔹 Chef Activity: Licensed chefs must maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety, display their commercial register number prominently, and can engage in direct sales to consumers or through partnerships with restaurants, hotels, and other entities. 🔹 Online Sales: Licensees must have an existing website for their virtual commercial store and are prohibited from dealing with certain products as listed in the decision. 🔹 Foreign Labor: Licensees are not permitted to obtain permits for foreign labor related to the licensed activities. This decision also cancels previous regulations related to virtual commercial stores, ensuring a more cohesive and updated framework for digital commerce.
