Disney Jollywood Nights will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this holiday season for the second annual event. What is Disney Jollywood Nights?
Disney Jollywood Nights is the holiday season extra-charge event for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The event promises some extra yuletide cheer and exclusives for event attendees, including two exclusive shows, exclusive character meet and greets, exclusive entertainment, and more!

2024 Disney Jollywood Nights Dates & Prices
Disney Jollywood Nights takes place over 13 nights from November 9th through December 21st. Here are the announced dates for the 2024 season:
- Nov. 9, 13, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30
- Dec. 2, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21
NEW | Disney Jollywood Nights will be a 5-hour party this year, taking place from 7:30pm to 12:30am. Last year, the party began at 8:30pm and was just four hours long. Guests with a Disney Jollywood Nights ticket will be able to enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios as early as 6pm with their event ticket. Guests with a day-ticket will, of course, be able to enter earlier, but will need to find a check-in location to obtain a wristband before the party starts.
Walt Disney World has not announced date-specific pricing, but they have announced that tickets are $159 to $179 per person, plus tax (prices vary by event date). Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to Disney Jollywood Nights, valid for all event nights.
Special event tickets may be purchased starting July 10, 2024. Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can purchase tickets early—starting July 2, 2024—for event dates during their stay. This advance purchase window is available to Guests of:
- Disney Resorts Collection hotels
- Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
- Walt Disney World Swan Reserve
- Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel
- Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort
Disney Jollywood Nights Entertainment
There are a few exclusive entertainment offerings for Disney Jollywood Nights, ranging from stage shows to fireworks, professional ice skaters to street parties. Here’s a preview of what you can expect, along with a look at what is returning from last year.
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Fireworks Show | 10pm
It used to be part of daily operations during the holiday season at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! fireworks show is now a Jollywood exclusive.
NEW | This year, the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! fireworks show will be presented at 10pm. Last year, the fireworks show was presented at 12:30am – right when the event ended.
Here’s our video from last year, which took place during the pouring rain at 12:30am. Not the most ideal of conditions, but hopefully things will go better this year (in more ways than one).
Disney Holidays in Hollywood
2024 Showtimes: 8:15pm, 9:15pm, 11:15pm and 12:15am
Behold a spirited holiday show with music, dancing and beloved Characters at Theater of the Stars.
Hosted by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, this star-studded holiday extravaganza includes appearances from Characters such as Tiana, Belle, Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse—accompanied by a talented cast of singers, dancers and jazz musicians.
What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along
2024 Showtimes: 7:30pm, 8:30pm, 9:30pm, 11:30pm and 12:30am
Join Jack Skellington at Hyperion Theater for a dreamlike adventure inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Sing along with the Pumpkin King to songs from the film as you follow 2 friends on a larger-than-life journey. You’ll discover the peculiar magic of wonder in unlikely places, conquer the Oogie Boogie man himself and stay curious when things are not quite as they seem.
NEW | Skating Spectacular on Hollywood Boulevard
2024 Showtimes: 8:15pm, 9:15pm, 10:20pm, 11:15pm and 12:15am.
NEW | Gather for a dazzling skating spectacular on Hollywood Boulevard, set to your favorite holiday tunes. Take in the grace and skill of international champion skaters in an awe-inspiring twist on the traditional ice show!
Holiday Fiesta en la Calle
Holiday Fiesta en la Calle is a lively holiday street fair in Animation Courtyard from 7:30pm to 12:30am. It’s a vibrant scene with warm lighting, colorful décor and spirited musicians performing Latin holiday tunes—as well as appearances from José Carioca and Panchito from The Three Caballeros.
NEW | The addition of Jose and Panchito to the street party is all-new in 2024! The party has moved from an area near the ABC Commissary to the Animation Courtyard, as well.
Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club
Set Times: 7:30pm, 8:10pm, 8:50pm, 9:30pm, 10:30pm, 11:10pm and 11:50pm
Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club is a swingin’ celebration in the courtyard of The Hollywood Tower Hotel. Here, you can sip cocktails (extra purchase) and unwind in style while a live band swoons and croons holiday tunes.
Jazzy Holidays at the Hollywood Brown Derby
On event evenings, Guests can sip craft cocktails and indulge in an event-exclusive menu of light bites* while a pianist plays smooth holiday tunes at The Hollywood Brown Derby.
This is a limited-capacity experience; reservations are strongly recommended to help you plan your evening. Entertainment offerings are subject to change. Check back in early September for details on how to book.
Fantasmic!
Showtime: 6:30pm
Because Disney Jollywood Nights attendees can enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios as early as 6pm with their event ticket, attendees will also have the option to catch Fantasmic! before Disney Jollywood Nights kicks off. That said, we anticipate that seating will be very limited, and there might be better ways to spend your time at the start of the Jollywood Nights event than exiting Fantasmic!, but know that it is an option.
2024 Disney Jollywood Nights Character Lineup
One of the things that Disney World did to try and “fix” Disney Jollywood Nights last year following a disastrous debut is to add more characters for guests to meet. That carried into the Disney After Hours event, and it was a huge success.
This year, Disney World has announced even more characters! Here’s the announced lineup:
New to Disney Jollywood Nights in 2024
In 2024, several Characters will appear at Disney Jollywood Nights for the first time—including:
- Baloo and King Louie from Talespin – appearing at Echo Lake
- José Carioca or Panchito from The Three Caballeros – appearing at Animation Courtyard
- Bo Peep or Lotso from the Toy Story movies – appearing at the entrance to Toy Story Land
Returning in 2024
Many Characters are returning to Disney Jollywood Nights in 2024, including:
- Phineas and Ferb – appearing at Echo Lake
- Max Goof as Powerline – appearing at Echo Lake
- Rescue Rangers Chip ‘n’ Dale – appearing at Echo Lake
- Santa Stitch – appearing at Celebrity Spotlight at Echo Lake
- Santa Duffy – appearing at Santa’s Workshop at Grand Avenue
- Edna Mode and Frozone from The Incredibles – appearing at Pixar Plaza
- Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck – appearing on Hollywood Boulevard near Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
- Goofy and Pluto – appearing by Pixar Plaza

2024 Disney Jollywood Nights Attractions
Of course, it’s not all just about the holidays during Disney Jollywood Nights. Guests will also find select attractions available with lower-than-normal wait times during the event. Here’s a list of the announced attractions:

NEW | New to the 2024 version of Disney Jollywood Nights is the standby option for Rise of the Resistance. In 2023, Disney World activated a Virtual Queue for the attraction during the Disney Jollywood Nights event.

NEW | New this year is an actual effort for Disney Jollywood Nights merchandise. Last year, there was a single t-shirt with the event logo, but nothing else. This year, guests will be able to shop for event-themed merchandise featuring Ollie the jolly gingerbread man!
