Resolution Life announces the acquisition of 100% of its shares by Nippon Life at a valuation of $10.6 billion. The transaction will accelerate growth for both Resolution Life and Nippon Life in the highly active, multi-trillion-dollar global life and annuity consolidation sector. Blackstone will continue to be Resolution Life’s investment manager across private credit and other key areas. Giving Tuesday is about generosity, and Resolution Life amplified giving by matching contributions to causes supported by our employees. Almost two-thirds of our US-based employees donated to 372 unique causes. Collectively, we donated a total of $142K. Members of our UK team recently volunteered at Spitalfields City Farm, lending a hand by turning the compost heap, cleaning the chicken coop, and spending some quality time petting the goats. Spitalfields City Farm works with a vibrant and multi-cultural community to provide educational opportunities for children and adults to empower them to gain new skills and confidence. Our team partnered with farm staff to maintain the Farm site, while also raising vital funds to care for the animals and subsidise the farm's education programmes. The teambuilding event was both fun and philanthropic and is another example of how we contribute to our Sustainability commitments. Resolution Life US held its annual Day of Service this week where employees from across the country volunteer to support local community and non-profit organizations. Hundreds of employees joined group volunteer events in 10 cities and also volunteered individually in their communities to clean parks, plant trees, prepare meals, pack lunches, donate blood and so much more — all to benefit a variety of unique causes and non-profits. #differencemaker Resolution Life #DayofService #volunteering
