On May 31st, last Friday, Meta addressed certain behaviors that could reduce the reach and engagement of creator profiles through a Reel. One of these behaviors was the use of DM automation. You've probably seen captions like "Comment the word X and receive an ebook in your DM." Platforms like Manychat allow users to receive messages with an information by commenting a specific word. Meta's post implied that using automation could harm a profile, causing concern among many marketers who rely on this tool to scale their businesses and increase revenue.
