This initiative is expected to boost biodiversity and restore ecological balance in the region’s woodlands. 🧱 Sustainable Cement Revolution Welsh start-up, Material Evolution, has developed a low-carbon cement that produces 85% fewer emissions than traditional cement. Their Wrexham facility, capable of producing 120,000 tonnes annually, offers a game-changing solution to reduce the construction industry’s carbon footprint. The innovative process eliminates the need for limestone, using slag and alkali chemicals instead, paving the way for a sustainable future in construction.
