Room is a tad small for single traveller. If you have a large lugguage. Toilet is good size almost half of the room size . Location wise is perfect just beside karaoke and near to train station exit 4 and 5. Food is easily located nearby . Con - wifi cannot make it . If you need to work , this hotel cannot as the wifi will drive you crazy . I think the servers cannot cope with large number of paxs staying there using at the same time . Front counter staff - Manuel is friendly and helpful . Appreciate his assistance when I needed a box and tape. Fruitful advise given. No amenities is provided but 7-11 is just by the corner and pastry shop and all. Post office is super near if you need to buy boxes.

a little rundown, but still acceptable and decently clean. although the toilet size was really small and uncomfortable compared to the room. amenities were fine although it didn't feel like a 5 star hotel as labelled. water also took a long time to heat up and it didn't reach a warm enough temperature sometimes. there's also only one water dispenser at the gym. however, the location is fantastic, connected to the metro and taipei station.

Hotel Review I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The location is slightly less convenient for those relying on the MRT, as it’s about a 10-minute walk away. However, this wasn’t a major issue for me. The only downside is that the surrounding area doesn’t offer much in terms of dining options, as it’s more of an office building complex. That said, if you’re commuting via taxi or ride-hailing apps, Xinyi district and its vibrant food scene are just a short ride away. What truly sets this hotel apart is the superb view—it’s breathtaking and makes your stay feel even more special. The room itself was exceptional: extremely spacious, luxurious, clean, and tidy. Every detail was well thought out, making it a comfortable and relaxing retreat. If you’re looking for a luxurious stay with amazing views and don’t mind relying on transport for dining, this hotel is a fantastic choice.

One of the best stays I had in Taipei. The location is perfect, just beside XMD so it's not noisy and very peaceful at night. Room was clean and new, housekeeping is on alternate days, you can request for daily of required. There's water dispenser, teabags, coffee, bottle water at the lobby which was really convenient. It's also one of the taller buildings in the area so the view was amazing, we had a clear view of the vicinity and also tamsui river. 🥰 We even managed to find food establishments that was open on Typhoon day, despite schools and work places were supposed to be closed. The Hello Kitty 7-11 is just opposite, and many conveniences stores within minutes. Would definitely return!

I had the accessible room for one night. I cannot complain about the stay. The room was in good size and the staff were friendly. The location was not the most convenient but the hotel has a nice 7seater as shuttle to the Metro in the day time. The amenities in the room may require an upgrade as switches and system are not quite there yet. The swimming pool and gym were good. Else, would stay again if it fits the budget.

It's a good old traditional hotel. Nice friendly staff, generous with the amenities like water, coffee, tea etc... Breakfast was a good ********* food like congee, pork buns sometimes, noodles, with some ham and sausages. Fruits were the same for 7 days: good watermelon 🍉, guava, and pale oranges that could be better. Salad and bread section with butter, jams and sometimes peanut butter. Overall an okay filling Breakfast 👌. Nice view of the river during breakfast at the top 12th floor. Wheelchair ♿️ accessible. Willing to go back but will try another hotel next time.

Two nights and three days in Tainan, my first time exploring this city. The property had a great location, making it easy to get around. However, what truly surprised me was the Tainan beef soup and rice cake the glutinous rice topped with braised pork was something special.

The hotel is not located close to the city, but is close to the high-speed rail station. The facilities in the room are new and the same as the photos on the official website. There are many storage spaces and plugs, which are quite suitable for long-term guests. It is equipped with an IH stove, an International brand steam oven, and a washing machine. However, after searching through all the cupboards, pots, pans, and laundry detergent, there is no distribution. I want to heat up a takeaway meal but I don’t know how to serve it. It’s a pity to waste these facilities. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, the water volume is strong and super comfortable, the temperature-controlled faucet does not fluctuate in temperature, which is very considerate, and the drainage hole is also designed in a long strip shape so that no water accumulates. There are two pillows, one soft and one hard, for each person. The underground parking lot is bright and spacious. The cleanliness could be improved a bit. There is dust in the corners of the table and behind the TV. There are some stains on the bath towels, but it does not affect the use. The breakfast is indeed not very varied. The meal time is Sunday and Monday. For two consecutive days, I could clearly feel that there were some missing items in the meal preparation. The coffee machine provided milk one day and not the other day. However, meal boxes are provided for passengers who are unable to come down for meals. Breakfast has been divided into three periods, but the dining seats obviously cannot accommodate all the passengers. On Sunday, there were many people waiting in line for meals. But overall, you can still see the care put into it, and I will still recommend it to friends or stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights before checking out to go Beitou for a night. The service was great, especially the concierge team & housekeeping who were ultra friendly & helpful. The room was clean but we would have liked it better if the washing area & bathtub are enclosed within a door. The breakfast was disappointing as options were limited & tasted bland, unsure if this is the ********* style but soya milk was really tasteless. We are going back to stay another 2 nights & and we were glad that we did not book the room with breakfast. The exec lounge serves mainly pastries. The hotel is extremely convenient, right next to a mall & MRT + 5 mins taxi ride to Ningxia night market. The downside is that we could not use our hairdryer due to voltage diff & we did not realise earlier as it was our 1st time to Taiwan.

Regent is a 5-star hotel with great service and good location in Zhongshan District in Taipei. Price wise is a bit on the high side but the hotel service is top notch. There is also a small shopping gallery inside the hotel with shops selling luxury products such as LV and Chanel. There is live music at the cafe inside the hotel too. The rooms are big and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is great with big variety of cuisine to choose from. Location is about 10-15mins walk to Zhongshan MRT train station. Nearby has many shops which is convenient.

After a couple of less impressive days at another 5-star property for business meetings, I was pleasantly surprised by the attentive service received at Humble House after I transferred over for the remainder of my stay in Taipei. Staff service was consistently welcoming across the board, from concierge to front desk, to restaurant and even the housekeeping staff I ran into in the corridor offering to clean my room.

It’s a good place to stay and relax. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Walkable distance to Xiaonanmen mrt station. there is shuttle bus every 2 hours to XiMending or Longshan temple (both location have mrt). There is a shops and even carrefour near the hotel with a 5mins distance walk. The staff is very friendly and would also recommend places to visit. Do take note that there is a deposit of SGD$220 during check-in. Will definitely come back again!

Nice hotel lobby and friendly staff. Room is spacious with a relaxing forest view. Cleanliness is on point and beds are really comfy. Things that drag down the rating for this hotel. 1. Breakfast was a tad too average. 2. Its regrettable that they dont do cleaning service from evening onwards though they can replenish amenities and clear rubbish out of the room.

After trying several hotels, now I always stay in Lin whenever I am in Taichung. Centrally located and best hotel. Room size is too big and breakfast buffet spread is also very vast

Overall services were good, from concierge, to check in and check out. The room that was allocated to us was spacious however they could have done better to do regular maintenance on their TV channels and systems. Some channels showed black screen with audio whereas some with visuals but no audio. Called up for service and they got a technician over to check yet no outcome and they decided to brush me off by blaming it on system updates backend. Tried over the next few days and still didn't work, and gave up eventually. Not returning to this hotel for my next trip to Taichung.

Great hotel for families. The staff were great and breakfast was very comprehensive. Large rooms and there was a large play area on one of the floors which was beside the gym and laundromat. The service staff were so nice to help us with the laundry machines.

Location is great! Theres a taxi stop/line right in front of the hotel. There’s so many things to do and explore around the hotel, the kids love it. We enjoy the breakfast buffet too! We would like to stay there again next time!

Not too bad, a very kid friendly hotel. It’s good to stay here when u are traveling with toddler, love their playroom which my son enjoys a lot in there.

Although the location is in Xitun, it is close to the East China Sea. The room is clean but has a bit of a musty smell due to the humidity. Overall, it is excellent. The swimming pool and children's play area are separate, so you can swim seriously without any worries.

Had a splendid stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and provided a thorough explanation of our room. The nearby area is beautiful, making it a perfect location for a getaway. Our room featured an in-room hot spring, which was a fantastic addition, especially in such cold weather. The food offered a wide variety of options; however, it could be improved to enhance the overall dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this place, but I advise booking your transportation or the shuttle service in advance for a smoother experience.

Checked into this luxury hotel at night, and the process was smooth. The reception staff were friendly, and the service was excellent. Upon entering the room, it was evident that this was a five-star hotel.

Not for shopping. Noticed this hotel seems popular with the locals and opened for day use hot spring. Nearby offer number of forest walking trails. Unfortunately 1N stay doesn’t is not sufficient to explore the area. Love the soothing tea available at hotel lobby. In-room hot spring & premium toiletries products are our favorites, Breakfast is good. Recommend stay for relaxation.

I enjoyed my stay tremendously and at awe of the level of service from all the staff of this hotel. From the bellhop to the concierge to the maid, everyone here is professional and courteous only the highest class hotels in the US can match. Here they are doing it without expectations of tips... I traveled solo and as a single guy and not expecting much. I am surprised at the service and comfort I got that are exceeding my expectations.

My recent stay at TAI Urban Resort was absolutely delightful. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff, especially the floor attendants, were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend TAI Urban Resort to anyone visiting Taiwan and will certainly be staying there again on my next trip.

Hotel is at excellent location Steps away from E-Da theme park Great restaurants at the Hotel!! Must visit! I do recommend the Japanese restaurant at the lobby level, reservations are a must Rooms are clean and neat and spacious, I visited the suite! A very satisfying stay. I will come again next time I come to Kaohsiung! What I remember most is the sincere and enthusiastic service of the concierge. The language and service make guests feel at home! The location is very good, the room is new and clean, and there is an air purifier. What needs to be improved is the breakfast, it would be better if it is richer.

H2O hotel is excellent. Their staff are very polite and friendly, facilities are new and bed is comfortable. Location is good, very close to the Hansen Arena and RuiFeng night market.

Great view, good location and next to a mall (e-sky mall) with supermarket and food court. Concierge and house keeping staff were the most helpful and friendly. They always had a smile, polite, and eager to help. The worst was executive lounge and front desk, borderline being rude. Their lounge (11/f) collected a birthday cake cutting fee (NT$500), even when we are hotel guest. Front desk reminded me several times of extra charge if late check out. The lobby cafe don’t know what is flat white and had no intention to find out what it is. I reckon their business is too good and don’t care about hospitality.

The location of the Grand Hotel Kaohsiung is better than the location of the Grand Hotel Taipei. Also, the view from the guest room at this hotel was better than the one that my parents got when staying at the Grand Hotel Taipei. The view at the Grand Hotel Kaohsiung faces the front of the hotel with trees and the water fountain. The view at the Grand Hotel Taipei was the parking lot. The subway is a bit far from the hotel. The room was quite big and the price was fine. Also, the room was clean and tidy.

It's a very nice hotel as the location is just next to a pub bar with a live band. As a visitor in this city, it's a nice way to spend the night. Plus it's a few minutes away from the train station. The buffet breakfast was good, lots of choices. The front desk receptionist was very accommodating and the front door guard helps us to call for a taxi. The staffs were all nice and helpful.
