Moon West Lake - Serviced Apartment

Great Service, I love the smell and they clean everyday.

I choose to stay in that place for the second time this year during my visit in Hanoi. Last time I got high floor room and everything was just perfect! Unfortunately, this time even though I requested high floor apartment, I got the first floor one with explanation that there is nothing else available. Young boy in the lobby propose me to move to one of their different apartments if I am not satisfy with that one, but then he stop replying and I decided to give it a chance and stay. Please be aware that is very noisy there, especially if you choose room facing lake. Noises from the street, as well as people conversations until very late night, as there are several cafe shops and restaurants right downstairs. First day, washing machine got broken, then lighting , after the wardrobe. Electric pot was also impossible to use, even though they always send someone to fix and help. Apartment 201 should be renovated, as it’s simply old. Beside all of that, my stay was OK.

I can say confidently this is one of the best if not the best hotels given the price. Situated right beside the West Lake, with the breathtaking views that comes with it, Moon West Lake is near various amenities: a pharmacy, a few convenience stores, a whole multitudes of restaurants, cafes, roadside eateries. The service and staff are also impeccable. Water is left for us at our door every day, even though we hung the "do not disturb" sign at the door. During check-out, we had to pay for a couple bottles of water we bought from the lobby but they didn't have change, and the man kindly waived the charge. All in all, as long as I am to visit Hanoi in the future, I will not stay anywhere else.
