✨ Empowering the Next Generation! ✨ Good Morning LinkedIn Family, tho on vacation we at the Accounting and Finance Society continue to do our part in contributing to the community. On Monday, we proudly partnered with the Lady Khama Charitable Trust to inspire young minds at Tshegetsang CJSS. 💡 We shared career guidance, motivation, and insights to help these bright young girls shape their futures. From choosing the right courses after Form 5 to understanding the value of joining youth initiatives, our goal was to equip them with the tools to make informed decisions. We also highlighted why Botswana Accountancy College is the best business school in Botswana – a place where dreams meet opportunities! A big thank you to our SRC President Mr Loago Saleshando for gracing us with his presence and to everyone who made this session impactful. Together, we are building stronger, more empowered communities.

The youth are awake indeed . 🇧🇼❤️Thank you for being in attendance. Stay tuned for the next one ✨✨
THE YOUTH ARE AWAKE!🇧🇼❤️ Yesterday the Accounting and Finance Society led by Thabang Bantheri & Chipo Masena organized a ‘Discussion of State of the Nation Address’ Webinar! It was attended by over 100 youth and I am proud to have been one of them! It’s such a beautiful time to be a young and motswana, our interest in our nation has peaked and this is now our ‘cool’! We had our guest speakers being Loago Saleshando & Tumelo Asele Jr. however the webinar was basically a discussion amongst different youth! So much was discussed and I left with so much more knowledge! Just to give a glimpse into what was said; We discussed the state of our economy; in regards to assessing whether or not our country actually has the funds to do what the president stated he would implement, so many interesting opinions on this one as some mentioned that a reduction in government expenditure would allow for this, while others spoke to the importance of government actually collecting what belongs to it such as tax in order to fund such initiatives. Another opinion stated that the President is aware our own economy cannot fund these projects hence why he stated he wanted to position our country for foreign investment! The webinar took up to 2 hours, we even discussed the introduction of a new hermp industry the president spoke about and also anti-corruption initiatives he plans to implement; which everyone agreed was a very important step! It was extremely insightful a huge shoutout to BAC Accounting & Finance Society! ❤️

Following President Advocate Duma Boko's upcoming speech on our nation's economic status, you can tune in to hear a breakdown of key points addressed and their potential impact on the Accounting and Finance sector in our country. Follow the link to join the discussion with guest speakers Loago Saleshando and Tumelo Asele Jr. Hope to see you there✨ https://lnkd.in/erfmx4Uw

Good day LinkedIn community ☀️ Last week, we at the BAC Accounting & Finance Society Accounting had the pleasure of attending the Wellness Day event hosted by Botswana Accountancy College The day was packed with exciting activities that not only promoted physical well-being but also reinforced the importance of teamwork 🏃♂️⚽️ Beyond the physical, the event also shed light on the importance of health—mental, spiritual, and financial wellness. It’s a powerful reminder that true well-being goes beyond just exercise; it’s about nurturing every aspect of our lives. #WellnessDay #HolisticHealth #TeamBuilding #BACCommunity
