Speaking to landowners at RegioAgrar Bayern 🗺️ This year, we participated as an exhibitor in the agricultural trade fair RegioAgrar in Augsburg. We informed landowners about the benefits of making their land available for wind, solar, and battery projects. You own lands yourself and are interested in having a positive impact for a greener future? ABO Energy handles all the necessary steps – from planning and approval to procurement and installation, and we bear all the costs. We have successfully sold our 9.9 MW Jeques solar farm in central Colombia to GreenYellow Colombia! ☀️ This marks a historic achievement for ABO Energy, as Jeques is the first solar farm in Colombia that we built entirely ourselves – from the ground up. This is a major step in our commitment to clean energy expansion in the region. 🌎 Special thanks to our dedicated teams in Colombia and Germany for their expertise and hard work! Our Teams were present at two Open Houses to inform citizens about wind farm projects, in the west of Germany. 🌬️ In Meinerzhagen, between 80 and 100 citizens came to us to find out more about the 18 MW wind farm project. ➡️ Impact: will provide electricity for 15,000 households annually ➡️ Benefit: will save 39,000 tons of CO₂ per year Our team was also in Schmallenberg to inform and answer questions about the coming wind farms. They would produce a total of approximately 111MW of clean electricity annually. We secured tariffs for three solar parks in Germany, with a total capacity of approx. 35 MW. ☀️ Projects are being developed in Baden-Württemberg (Neckarbischofsheim and Deißlingen) and in North Rhine-Westphalia (Kempen), with construction starting in the second half of 2025. "This is a great success for our dedicated teams and confirms the very positive development from the previous year," explains Amaya Hilpert, Head of Solar Development Germany. Last week, we successfully commissioned our largest substation in Germany. ⚡ This substation, located in Schwerte, houses the biggest transformer in the company's history in Germany with 80/63 MVA. Five wind farms with five operators will be connected to this substation, with a total capacity of 59 MW. This is the second substation our skilled electrical experts have independently completed, aligning perfectly with our strategy to accelerate project delivery and enhance internal value creation. We were glad to welcome citizens to our Open House for the Öhningen wind farm project in the south of Germany. 💡 At ABO Energy, transparency with our stakeholders is a priority. On January 30th, in collaboration with the municipality of Öhningen, we hosted an Open House to address citizens' questions and provide more information about the project.
