This recent study from Stanford University, published in Nature Aging, challenges the conventional view of aging as a gradual process by revealing two distinct periods of rapid molecular change: around ages 45 and 65. For those in their mid-40s, the study identified pronounced shifts in molecules associated with metabolism and cardiovascular health, while individuals in their mid-60s exhibited notable changes related to metabolic regulation, immune function, and organ health.
