Its always a fun event and great to see everyone who came out to the open house!

Its been a while coming, but it is great to have a twin otter in the hangar!! Steel and I took it off floats last weekend in Hay River. Now its in for some maintenance, then available for contract on wheels. Thanks to South Nahanni Airways for bringing “The Beast” to us!! It is a one-of-a-kind Twin Otter!! Our open house is tomorrow (Sept 14) stop by and see “The Beast” in person!!

WE ARE HIRING: M1 Aircraft Engineer We are actively seeking licenced M1 AME’s to join our team!! The ideal candidate will have experience on turbine and piston engines as well as King Air, Cessna, DeHavilland, and Piper experience. We currently operate out of Grande Prairie, AB and Fort St John, BC, but there are opportunities to work in the field and travel accross Canada and the US doing aircraft pre-purchase inspections. Our AMO is certified to work on Piper and Cessna aircraft as well as King Air, DHC-6, DHC-2, and Air Tractors. Its still winter in Hay River, NWT; but its not too early to get ready for the summer float season. Prop removal and hauling to Edmonton for overhaul.

It was a long day, and we were picking our way around snow storms most of the trip home, but we made it back to Grande Prairie and have a new addition to our flight training fleet!! The past two years, our daily aircraft utillization has nearly doubled. Adding this aircraft and two more instructors will allow us to better meet the needs of our students.
