As part of the mechanisms for mobilizing funding for the loss and damage fund, ACAI positioned itself on the side of those who propose solutions. We already knew that these rich countries could not honor their commitment and assume their responsibilities. The TAPP/ACAI Coalition team composed of Mr. Jeroom Remmers, Executive Director of the TAPP Coalition, the tireless Dr. Trinto Mugangu, Regional Coordinator of ACAI, Willem Branten, Tim Kadash, Akshath and myself had conducted political advocacy with delegations from African, American, European, Asian and other countries. Memories of the major meetings of COP29 with Mr. Timothée Kagonbé, National Focal Point Cameroon UNFCCC.
