Holiday gatherings can be challenging for loved ones with hearing loss. Here are some simple ways to support them: Ask them what helps them feel included. This could be sitting in a quieter corner, using captions on TV, or letting them know when someone new joins the conversation. Sit next to them during gatherings. This allows for easier face-to-face communication and lipreading. Reduce background noise during conversations. Turn off the TV, dim the music, or find a quieter space to chat. Small actions can make a BIG difference in creating a happy and inclusive holiday season! Share this with your friends and family to spread the cheer! helpmehear.ca #AHIP #HearingHealth #HearToCare #HearingLoss #HearingSpecialists #Hearing #HearingAids

Congratulations to Theresa Klein-Horseman on her incredible 15-year journey as an AHIP member! Her passion for helping others and her love of music and sound inspired her to become a Hearing Instrument Practitioner. When asked what she loves most about being part of the AHIP community, Theresa shared: “It feels like family—a team working together to help the world hear better while constantly challenging ourselves to grow.” 💙 Throughout her career, Theresa has had countless memorable moments, but what stands out is helping individuals reconnect with their world. Whether assisting someone with fluctuating hearing due to Meniere’s disease or helping others regain clarity in the sounds around them, she takes pride in slowing down, educating, and truly making a difference. Her advice for those starting in the field? “It’s not easy, but the reward is worth it. Take your time, educate yourself, and know that you’re changing lives.” Please join us in celebrating Theresa’s 15 years of dedication, compassion, and excellence. helpmehear.ca #AHIP #HearingHealth #HearToCare #HearingLoss #HearingSpecialists #Hearing #HearingAids
