Did you know? Alberta has seen the most significant improvement in cancer survival rates in the country. 8.7 per cent is not just a number—it means more moments, more hope, and more time for Albertans facing cancer. This incredible progress doesn’t happen alone. It takes the generosity of donors, the bright minds behind cancer research in Alberta, powerful events like the Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer, and a dedicated community working together to drive real change. Together, we are the light in the darkness. #MoreMoments #CancerCare #AlbertaCancer #CommunityImpact

More support, when it’s needed most 💛 For Albertans facing cancer, the financial burdens can be overwhelming—travel costs, medications, and time off work can all add up. The Alberta Cancer Foundation’s Patient Financial Assistance Program is there to help. Last year, it provided $1.5 million to families from 123 communities, over half of which were in rural areas. Donations raised for the Alberta Cancer Foundation's More Hope Movement through the Tour help ease these burdens, allowing patients to focus on what matters most: healing. Join us this July and pedal for more support, for more Albertans - MoreHope.ca/Tour #AlbertaCancerFoundation #TourAlbertaForCancer #TourAlberta2025

Congratulations, Wendy, on this remarkable and well-deserved honour!
It was an honour to receive the King Charles III Coronation Medal, awarded to Canadians who have made a difference in their community. It was even more special by having it presented by the Honourable Ric McIver, Minister of Municipal Affairs. Thank you Minister! We were also joined at the ceremony by the one and only Christine McIver, M.S.M., LLD, CFRE who is the ultimate champion for people (especially kids) who are facing cancer. And also so fun to have my Aunt Beth Struble join us too. This could have only been made better if all 65 team members of the Alberta Cancer Foundation could have joined us as its really is a reflection of the expertise and commitment of that all-star team who I’m proud to call my colleagues.
