From hospice to hope, the clinical trial that gave Don Goss a second chance at life. The same day that Don received a call from Dr. Chu asking if he’d like to be a patient on his Immunotherapy clinical trial, was the same day Don set himself up for palliative care. This clinical trial was a light in the darkness for Don and his family, and he accepted to join without hesitation. Although Don felt ill through most of the treatment, he explains “I was sick, but it was a good sickness knowing that it was killing the cancer cells,” Thanks to donors like you, and events like the Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer, leading-edge clinical trials are being funded right here in Alberta. These clinical trials not only provide hope to those facing cancer, they also elevate the standard of care in our province. As for Don Goss, he is now cancer-free thanks to this crucial funding!
