Alberta is undoubtedly the freest province in Canada, thanks to the strong presence of common sense within our communities. Albertans are unapologetically authentic and true to themselves—something that seems increasingly rare across the rest of Canada. Danielle Smith Dan McLean

About us
Alberta Proud is a group of citizens concerned about Alberta's future. Alberta has a distinct identity thanks to our western roots and entrepreneurial spirit. But over the past few years, these values have come under attack and regular Albertans have been left behind. Politicians touting big government solutions and appeasement to environmental radicals are hurting our province. The Alberta Advantage has been crushed. Alberta Proud is fighting back. With over 178,000 Facebook supporters, we are standing up for affordable, responsible government. We are unapologetically Albertan. We know that with hard work and a can-do attitude, Alberta's best days still lay ahead.

It's difficult to predict what actions might be taken at the border to align with Donald Trump's demands, especially given the complexities of international relations and border security. What actions do you think she might take at the border to address Donald Trump's demands? Do you believe the President would consider pardoning Alberta if Justin Trudeau fails to meet his terms? On behalf of Alberta Proud, I would like to name Mayor Jyoti Gondek as Canada's Worst Mayor. Under her leadership, Calgary has faced rising taxes and reduced affordability, sweeping blanket rezoning, a mishandled Green Line LRT project, and the declaration of a state of climate emergency. 48% of Calgarians strongly disapprove of her, while only 7% strongly approve of her. I think that says it all. Well, here’s one magazine cover she can’t buy her way onto.

Well, Trudeau, what now? It's either tighten up the borders or take the 25% tariffs. Your premiers are aligning to implore you to play nicely with the incoming U.S. president. But will you? #albertaproud

Schulz has headed to Azerbaijan for the COP29 for the climate summit and is there to make the case that Alberta is a responsible energy producer. Are you glad Alberta is there with provincial representation instead of the feds? #albertaproud

It’s hockey season and we just wanted to take a moment to remember how awesome this guy was (and is). Do you remember those cup victories, #albertaproud?
