Greenwin is excited to announce that we have partnered with Sweeny &Co Architects Inc. and Algoma University to develop a ground-breaking student residence in Brampton. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in addressing the housing needs of students in this community. The new student residence, strategically located near Algoma University classrooms at Park Street and Nelson Street West, will include between 500 and 600 beds in a mix of single and double bedrooms in four- to six-bed suites. Scheduled for completion in time for the 2028-29 school year, this project reflects our shared commitment to creating inclusive and supportive spaces for students. Algoma University's Special Mission to foster cross-cultural education between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities will also be integrated into the design, ensuring a decolonized and Indigenized environment. We are thrilled to be working with Algoma to expand their Brampton campus and to be building such a meaningful student housing project in the city’s downtown core.
