2024 marks a special milestone for our company — 50 years of unwavering commitment to homeowner protection and industry innovation. About us
The Alberta New Home Warranty Program (ANHWP) was founded in 1974 by Alberta homebuilders to provide a package of warranty protections and bolster the professionalism of the homebuilding industry. ANHWP is a membership-based organization that comprises the elite of all Alberta builders who value excellence and customer satisfaction. ANHWP’s mandate is to provide a suite of warranty products that offer a fair level of protection and provide Builder Members and their homeowners with the tools they need to resolve issues, honour specific industry standards and become better educated about the new home construction process. ANHWP at a Glance • An independent, not-for-profit new home warranty provider regulated under Alberta’s Insurance Act • Alberta’s largest warranty provider, currently serving approximately 700 Builder Members and protecting more than half a million homeowners since inception • A leader and innovator in new home warranty products • The new home warranty company with the best dispute resolution processes designed to bring closure to issues builders and homebuyers cannot resolve on their own • The new home warranty company that maintains the highest standard of membership through exacting membership criteria, risk analysis and requirements for builder accountability • Provides home warranty, on-site inspection, workmanship and material review, dispute resolution and education.
