  • We're so honored to be able to support our amazing business community. Annapolis Valley Chamber Awards events such as Business Awards & Valley's Best are great opportunities to recognize and learn about some of the fantastic businesses in our region, such as our New Business of the Year category winner, Nova Heat Pumps & Air Conditioning. We visited the team on-site in Kentville after the awards event. Meeting the Nova Heat Pumps team was a truly pleasant experience. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor made for a great start to a sunny Thursday. After hearing about their recent win in the New Business of the Year category at the Annapolis Valley Business Awards, I had to stop by Nova Heat Pumps & Air Conditioning to see what they were all about. Nova Heat Pumps and Air Conditioning is a family-owned business established by Brodie Sampson after retiring from a decade-long career as an airline captain. I was fortunate to meet Brodie’s father, Donald, and the team at a job site last Thursday—arguably the hottest day of the year so far. Despite the heat, their positive attitude and unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction remained evident Their services extend beyond just heating and cooling. As an authorized Mitsubishi Electric dealer, they ensure you receive top-of-the-line products known for their reliability and energy efficiency. This dedication to quality is a cornerstone of their business. Supporting the local community is a core value at Nova Heat Pumps and Air Conditioning. They proudly sponsor local sports teams and events and actively participate in fundraising efforts to support community needs. One of their notable initiatives includes a radio campaign aimed at donating a heat pump to someone in need, highlighting their dedication to helping those who may not have the means to afford such improvements on their own. The team at Nova Heat Pumps and Air Conditioning believes in providing fantastic customer service and strives to make every client happy. From start to finish, they are dedicated to ensuring your satisfaction with their work. They love keeping in touch with the community. Follow them on social media for the latest updates, tips, and special offers! Your support helps them continue to provide excellent service and give back to the community. They look forward to serving you! For more information, visit their website at www.novaheatpumps.ca or call them at 844-902-6682. • The Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce has supported the Nova Scotia Farm Wine sector's cause, urging the government to reconsider the controversial Commercial Winery Support Program. Yesterday, their efforts bore fruit as the Houston government announced a pause on the program. Instead, they will collaborate with industry experts to redesign it, ensuring fairness and inclusivity across the sector. Kudos to all involved for prioritizing the interests of our local businesses and communities!
