This is one of the craziest promotion stories you will read today. Marc applied to work at an IT firm as a Junior Developer with no formal experience or academic background in programming. Because of this, the company placed him on a standard training course. There was nothing special, he was just a regular employee who could also be considered an intern. On the second day, while diligently working through the exercises, the director who had interviewed him approached, curious about what was on Marc's screen. Initially, he thought Marc was distracted, maybe even playing games but he saw the unexpected on his screen. And this made him promote Marc immediately. So what did the manager see? Instead of the basic dialogue box he expected in the exercise, Marc had crafted a full user interface, complete with graphics, sound, dialogue options, and intricate logic splits.
