The 15th #AWID International Forum begins today in Bangkok, Thailand. More than 4,000 grassroots activists, funders, feminists, movement leaders, artists, performers, and more will participate in the Forum’s sessions, spaces, exhibitions, hubs, and live performances. As you can imagine, behind the scenes, things are bustling and in high gear. These pictures are worth a thousand stories!🎊

On #WorldAIDSDay, we’re reflecting on our time at the 25th International AIDS Conference earlier this year, where AWID moderated “Invisible in Feminist Labour Movements” in partnership with ICW Global, NSWP, Drug Policy Advocacy Group Myanmar and WHRIN.  Women living with HIV and key populations are keen to be included in feminist movements, yet HIV is rarely ever referenced in feminist spaces. Within feminist spaces HIV tends to be framed as a health issue, with little understanding or analysis of the structural and intersectional impacts of living with HIV.  Today we reaffirm that HIV is a feminist issue that we should all care about and add to our feminist analysis. We hope that we can carry this message through the AWID Forum and beyond. Palestine is a feminist issue - a struggle supported clearly and visibly by feminist movements worldwide. Palestinian voices and struggles will be centered during the upcoming 15th AWID International Forum in Bangkok, Thailand. The Forum is an agenda-setting space for strategizing around transnational feminist solidarities across Palestine, Lebanon, Sudan, West Papua, Myanmar and many, many other parts of the world.
