Atlas Salt was happy to be a part of last week's Mineral Resources Review, the province's premier conference from the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum. Our VP, Engineering and Construction, Robert Booth presented an overview of the Great Atlantic Salt Project, and our booth was open and ready to answer questions and chat to those that stopped by. We would like to take the time to give a round of applause to the organizers for putting off a great event that showcased the bright future for mining in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Drilling will commence in November and is expected to be completed by Q1 2025. Atlas Salt has acquired an approximately 160-hectare Crown land surface lease, securing the necessary land for the geotechnical drilling and for future surface infrastructure development, including access roads, on-site facilities, and material handling systems. Today is National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. Newfoundland and Labrador's experience with Indigenous residential schools is not often included in the national conversation. But almost 2,000 children attended six boarding schools in Labrador and an orphanage in St. Anthony from the early 1900s until the last one closed in 1980. Stand together today in solidarity for residential school survivors across Canada and to remember those that never made it home. #NDTR

Atlas Salt is advancing the Great Atlantic Salt Project with the purchase of privately owned vacant, securing the key surface rights required for mine site construction and eventual production. In keeping with our sustainability goals, only a small portion of the land will be developed, leaving the rest undisturbed as a buffer around the mine site. The purchase supports our strategic discussions with potential sources of financing for construction, and the creation of shareholder value.
