Barocco X Nino

Award winning Canadian coffee roaster, Barocco Coffee Company, has partnered with Nino D’Aversa, an Italian bakery and trattoria with outposts in suburban GTA, to bring the best of specialty coffee and Italian cuisine to the College Street corridor with their newest offering, Barocco X Nino. The collaboration is the first of its kind for both brands. The partnership will result in a full coffee bar experience with a complementary food-hall style offering, Gelato, fresh pastries, bread and pizza dough are prepared daily by the team from Nino D’Aversa using traditional methods that have been honed for over five decades. Barocco X Nino’s chef prepares a seasonal menu including pizza, salad, pressed panini and a gourmet selection of prepared foods to takeaway such as pasta, soup, homemade tomato sauce and chacuterie plates to bring the Italian food experience to your home. With a nod to its roots as an acclaimed roaster, Barocco X Nino includes an on-site custom modified roaster within its 2,000 square foot space, churning out exceptional quality coffee blends and limited-edition single origin offerings. Their Master Roaster curates a vast coffee offering. The space also provides an area for the training of baristas from Barocco’s existing wholesale customer base. The team has also curated an extensive retail offering that includes a wide range of coffee items and artisanal goods, including: Barocco’s signature line of chocolates, panettone, Sicilian extra virgin olive oil, artisanal dried pastas and decadent chocolate hazelnut spreads.
