The Battlefords Regional News-Optimist has been serving the Battlefords for more than a century. The News-Optimist is an award winning community newspaper dedicated to providing readers with comprehensive coverage of news, sports and events in the community. The motto in the News-Optimist newsroom is "Everybody Has A Story." It is our mission to tell those stories, which in turn create a chronicle of Battlefords history as it unfolds each week. The News-Optimist also provides an effective advertising vehicle for businesses throughout the region as well as for provincial and national advertisers. Other publications produced by the Battlefords News-Optimist include the Northwest Farmer Rancher and other promotions offered throughout the year.
