Benton has announced that it has received its best gold results to date at the South Pond Gold-Copper Zone, surface exploration and drilling now spans approx. 3.0 km and remains open. Drilling will recommence in mid-January with continued testing of parallel and deep EM conductors, a 15,000 m drill program is planned and the Company is awaiting further gold and copper assay results for the last 3 holes drilled in 2024. Benton has announced the completion of a drill hole at the Great Burnt Main Deposit to test a parallel conductor interpreted to be a footwall zone located to the east of the main deposit. All samples have been submitted to the lab, and assays are pending. Drill hole GB-24-49 confirmed that a parallel mineralized footwall is present in the system. Benton has announced the recommencement of drilling at the Great Burnt Copper Deposit, drilling will focus on newly identified off-hole electro-magnetic conductors. If successful in intersecting copper-rich massive sulphides, the Company could substantially extend the strike length to 1,050 m from its current strike length of 850 m. Over the past 12 months, Benton has conducted extensive exploration, extending and upgrading the GBCD with excellent drill results. The Company has also announced that it has extended the South Pond Gold-Copper Zone mineralization in drilling to over 2.3 km in strike length. The zone remains open to the north and south. Benton has announced a new gold discovery on its 100%-owned Dominion Lake Gold-Base Metal Project which was acquired last year within the northern Turks Volcanic Belt of the Victoria Lake Supergroup. A small prospecting project conducted summer 2024 resulted in a 50 m wide sheared zone, grades as high as 4.6 g/t gold, and a collected total of 30 grab samples. Benton has announced that it has extended the South Pond Gold Zone, contained within the Great Burnt Copper-Gold project, in south-central Newfoundland 600 m to the south with significant intercepts including 1.48g/t gold over 24.00 m. The Company has completed a total of 30 diamond drill holes for a total of 3,380 m, with the last 5 holes drilled 1.5 km further south on the South Pond Gold trend.
