As 2024 draws to a close, we’re reflecting on an extraordinary year of progress and innovation at BlueGrid. This year, we’ve reached significant milestones in our mission to accelerate marine electrification and create a more sustainable future: - World’s First High-Power Vessel-to-Grid Deployment: We successfully demonstrated bidirectional power transfer between electric boats and electricity grids working alongside other industry leaders, providing a new revenue stream for vessel owners and contributing to grid energy storage. Thank you, Evoy, ABCO Industries Inc., and BorgWarner for helping us achieve such an important milestone. - Accelerating Marine Electrification: Partnered with fleet owners, manufacturers, and naval architects to analyze vessels’ voyage and energy profiles to create electrification pathways, optimally size equipment and support business cases through data. - On the international front, we've teamed up with new partners, customers, and projects across Canada, the US, the UK, and Europe. Together, we're scaling vessel-to-grid technologies and laying robust foundations for future commercial success. We couldn’t have done this without the dedication of our team, the support of our partners, and the shared vision of greener energy and bluer oceans.
