About us
Boating Ontario is the largest recreational marine trade association in Canada and acts as the voice of the recreational boating industry on many strategic issues. Located in Penetanguishene, Ontario, the association provinces members with regulatory support; information, advice and direction; and practical, money saving programs for all aspects of their businesses. As the marine industry changes, Boating Ontario provides the support and necessary continuity required for the longevity of the recreational marine industry as a whole. Boating Ontario also represents the boater on items such as taxes, border crossings, safety requirements, environmental issues, security matters, lockage rates, policing issues, boaters’ licenses, import and export duties, water levels and the list goes on. Boating Ontario and its members promote Ontario waterways as ‘the best freshwater cruising in the World’.
