Last week, BOMA Toronto joined building portfolio owners from the Green Will Initiative at the University of Toronto for an engaging discussion featuring Deputy Mayor Jennifer McKelvie, City Councillor for Scarborough-Rouge Park, and Jana Mosley, the newly appointed President and CEO of Toronto Hydro. With a growing membership now exceeding 40 organizations, the Green Will Initiative invites building owners to partner with the City of Toronto to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from buildings, which remain the city's largest emission source. During the event, original founding members of the initiative, including our Corporate Partners Cadillac Fairview and Oxford Properties Group, were honoured for their pioneering leadership. We extend our congratulations to all members for their commitment to charting a path toward net-zero emissions for their building portfolios.
