We’re proud to share that Sarah Rogers, our Advocacy and Information Specialist, co-authored a groundbreaking peer-reviewed paper focusing on the rights of brain tumour patients and the transformative power of patient advocacy. Published in Neuro-Oncology Practice, this global collaboration highlights the inequities faced by patients and caregivers around the world and explores how advocacy efforts can bridge these gaps. We are happy to announce that TD Securities’ Underwriting Hope fund has awarded us a $15,000 grant to support families affected by brain tumours. This employee-led initiative highlights the power of community-driven generosity in the fight against this devastating disease. Brain tumours remain the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in children under 20. This grant will directly benefit our BrainWAVE/GOcervo pediatric program, which provides family-focused events, education, and support to dozens of families each year.
