Meet Ryan Burris, a brain tumour survivor from Campbellton, New Brunswick, and a recipient of one of our 2023 Youth Education Awards. Ryan is pursuing health sciences at the University of Moncton with an inspiring goal: to become a doctor and help sick children in need, as he was once a patient at the IWK hospital in Halifax.💙 After completing his first year, Ryan shared this heartfelt message: "I want to say a huge thank you for the bursary. Your support made a big difference this school year by easing the financial stress, which allowed me to focus more on my studies. It’s been an exciting and challenging year, and your help meant I could get more involved in my classes and activities as a pre-med student. This experience has brought me closer to my dream of working in healthcare, and I’m truly grateful for your generosity. Thank you for believing in me and helping me along this path." Congratulations, Ryan! We are so proud to support you on your journey to make a difference in the lives of others. 🎓 #YouthEducationAwards #BrainTumourSurvivor #FutureDoctor #EndBrainTumours
