This is your sign to quit. And Kevin Hart is teaching us firsthand. All 4 Hart House locations just closed after being open for only 2 years. While some may see this as a failure, I see it as a good business decision. People like Kevin Hart (and his team) are smart. They definitely assessed the numbers and saw things weren't adding up. And although this makes sense, I fear that most leaders wouldn't have made this logical decision. Why? Because most leaders make the mistake of forcing things because they’re emotionally attached and worried about optics. Even if they know the numbers aren't adding up, one of their first thoughts would probably be: "What are people going to say about me closing my business after just 2 years?" Here’s the truth: In business, you will fail more than you win. The beauty of the game is that you only need to win once. Recognize when to pivot or stop altogether. Don’t let pride or fear of judgment keep you stuck. If the business isn't working, quit and try again. You stay in the game by innovating. You lose the game by trying to force something that's not working. 🧡✌🏾
