Final reminder that tonight is the CGDA's annual general non-profit meeting! We have a couple last minute notes for anyone looking to attend to vote on directors, new proposals for our bylaws and in general hear about the direction the CGDA will be taking for the 2025 fiscal year. 1. If you are not coming but are a paid CGDA member please do assign another paid member who will be present to vote on your behalf with a proxy form. If you are not a paid member but do want to vote at the AGM this evening please do email brett@calgary.games before the AGM to get your membership set up ($25 dollars for the year and tons of discounts and perks). 3. Event is occurring at Platform Calgary in Classroom 2 (top floor, far west) which is also where Indie Friday has been moved to today for ease. 4. We are offering an online video streaming of the event to paid CGDA members who will have recieved an email a few days ago with the meeting link. If you are a recently paid member (within the last week) email me at dillan@calgary.games (or DM me on our discord) and I can send you the link. In collaboration with Platform Calgary & Red Bull, the CGDA is proud to be hosting a game industry night as a part of Innovation Week! This industry night will bring together community members and local studios such as Studio Monsoon and Shifty Eye Games for a night of networking and community building. Naturally Intelligent will also be hosting a tournament featuring their game "Forehead Chip" with the possibility to win awesome prizes!  The night will be a showcase of Alberta game development and we encourage any and all to come out and mingle. Community Event Showcase: Indie Friday! Every Friday (10am-4pm) at Platform Calgary we host a co-working session where people playtest, co-develop or just chat about games and #gamedev.
