Did you know that women make up less than 30% of the world's researchers? But here's the thing—girls can do anything when given the right opportunities and encouragement. Representation matters. Every young girl deserves to see herself represented in the sciences and to know her potential is limitless. That's why supporting charities that empower girls in STEM is so critically important. These organizations provide mentorship, resources, and opportunities to help girls realize their dreams of becoming scientists, engineers, and innovators. This International Day of Women and Girls in Science, take action. Visit our website to search and support charities focused on changing lives by empowering the next generation of female leaders in STEM. Girls belong in labs, on research teams, and behind the next groundbreaking discovery. Let's make it happen. https://brnw.ch/21wQClq

Last year’s GivingTuesday campaign was a major success because of Western Financial Group. Thank you!
Last December, Western Financial Group Communities Foundation donated $100,000 to ten Canadian charities on #GivingTuesdayCA. The #100KForGivingTuesday campaign and our Live Stream event were a resounding success, showcasing generosity in action. Here are the highlights: • Over 8,000 charity nominations received • 10 charities granted $10,000 each • 1.8 million people reached • over 15,000 live stream views From supporting mental health initiatives and food security to wildlife conservation and youth services, the impact of community-driven generosity has been nothing short of inspiring. Charities like Ability Online Support Network and Youth Mental Health Canada are just a few of the causes we proudly supported through our GivingTuesday initiative last year. We also want to thank CanadaHelps for their partnership, and our incredible live stream guests Akshay Tandon, Dr. Robyne Hanley-Dafoe, Sarah Nicole Landry, Cat & Nat, and Jon Montgomery for sharing their experiences in practicing acts of kindness.
