We are very grateful for Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority and Living Sky Casino's donation. Thank you for supporting our meal program.
On Tuesday, SIGA and Living Sky Casino announced two donations to community organizations in Swift Current. $5,000 was presented to the Canadian Mental Health Association Swift Current and $5,000 to Southwest Crisis Services. “This donation is important to us because it grants those impacted by intimate partner violence the opportunity to experience some relief, while working to feed themselves and their families,” said Southwest Crisis Services Executive Director Becky Walker. “Increasing food costs have added pressure to many families and individuals everywhere, and our members are no different. The need for our meal program continues to grow,” said CMHA Swift Current Meal Program Coordinator Helen Hyde. “Living Sky Casino and SIGA wanted to step up and help these two important organizations in our community, that help our most vulnerable,” said Living Sky Casino Acting General Manager Ashley Peterson. The donations are part of SIGA’s Community Investments Food Security Strategy, which will see $225,000 in total donated to several food banks and food nutrition programs across the province. https://lnkd.in/gxi6_BCA
