About us

The Canadian Ski Council (CSC) is the national umbrella organization representing Canada’s ski and snowboard industry. Established in 1977, the CSC brings together 10 key member organizations from all corners of the industry, including ski areas, instructors, patrollers, suppliers, manufacturers, athletes, and more. Our mission is to inspire and increase participation in skiing and snowboarding across Canada. Through cutting-edge research, innovative marketing, and strategic advocacy, we aim to make these winter sports accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Member Organizations include: • Association des stations de ski du Québec (ASSQ) • Atlantic Ski Area Association (ASAA) • Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing (CADS) • Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI) • Canadian Snowsports Association (CSA) • Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance (CSIA) • Canadian Ski Patrol (CSP) • Canada West Ski Areas Association (CWSAA) • Ontario Snow Resorts Association (OSRA) • Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors (CANSI) Visit www.skicanada.org for more details about the CSC or to learn more about skiing and snowboarding in Canada. One of our key initiatives is the Go Skiing Go Snowboarding program, designed specifically to help beginners discover the thrill of skiing and snowboarding. Offering exclusive pricing packages for first-timers, this program makes it easier than ever to get on the slopes. From finding the right gear to connecting with ski resorts, Go Skiing Go Snowboarding is the perfect entry point for anyone looking to enjoy Canada’s winter sports. https://goskiinggosnowboarding.ca/
