As part of our Canopy Days of Giving initiative, our 7ACRES team rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty at Prance Therapeutic Equestrian Centre in Port Elgin last month. Team members spent the day caring for horses, mucking out stalls, and cleaning tack and feed buckets, all while learning about Prance’s incredible mission to support people with physical, developmental, and emotional challenges through equine therapy. Way to go, team!

Today we’re excited to officially welcome Canopy’s new CEO Luc Mongeau as we kickoff this new year and continue advancing our vision of unleashing the power of cannabis to improve lives. With Luc coming onboard, we would also like to recognize and thank our outgoing CEO David Klein for his leadership and contributions to shaping and advancing Canopy over the last five years. In December, our HR and Communications team got to work at The Table in Perth, lending a hand to refresh this important community food hub. From painting and reorganizing closets to cleaning bins and sanding walls, they tackled it all with plenty of teamwork and laughter. A big shoutout to the team for showing how small acts of service can make a big impact!

As part of our Days of Giving initiative, members of our Finance team rolled up their sleeves to support Ottawa’s Toy Mountain this month! They sorted and unloaded toys, tracked donations, and prepared gift bags for families in need. Knowing their efforts will bring smiles to children this holiday season made the experience truly rewarding. Thank you to our team for spreading joy and holiday cheer! 

Recently, our incredible Canopy team in Smiths Falls volunteered as part of Canopy’s Days of Giving initiative with The Table Community Food Centre to help serve their annual community holiday dinner. We’re so proud of our team for spreading kindness and holiday cheer in our community!
